Culinary Chefs Association of Serbia, led by Djordje Kostic, doyen of Serbian cuisine, in cooperation with the national television RTS went on a sympathetic TV story. Main idea is that skilled chefs visiting children / youth without parental care, and through the learning and socializing with them, to assist in their preparation for independent living. At the initiative of correspondents from RTS Kraljevo, Vera Aksentijevic, first on their list were young people from SOS Children's Village Kraljevo.
The chefs come every Saturday to the Youth facility and teach young people to prepare certain dishes. Their plan is to provide youth the certificates that may assist them in hiring on the end.
Learning and socializing began on Saturday, 15.09. Our young people along with 7 chefs led by Djordje Kostic, learn to prepare different types of dishes, salads, appetizers and desserts, as well as specialties from traditional Chinese cuisine such as sushi and noodles.
