Through donations of good-will people from the country and from the abroad, we provide the resources for the work of an SOS Children’s Village.
Every kind of help is welcome.
It could be shot-term money gift or donation in kind; sponsorship true membership in SOS Children’s Village’s friends club (monthly payment – minimum 10Euro), scholarship for children and youths, buying our New Year and Christmas cards. You can help us by giving us space in your offices or markets for our fundraising boxes, by sending our promo materials to your customers with you regular mailing, and on other ways.
In this moment the most needed are:
1. Fuel oil, pelet for heating and fuel for vehicles to transport children
2. Small household appliances (irons, mixers…)
3. Toys for the courtyard (slides, seesaws, climbing, swing, benches)
4. Sports equipment, school equipment and educational props (table, material)
5. National costumes for the folk group
6. Funds for repairing the family houses steps, arranging the amphitheater in the courtyard
7. Materials for painting, for painting wood, concrete and metal tools
8. Office supplies and toiletries
9. Funds for scholarships for young people and for activities / work of specialists (speech therapist, family therapist, and trainer) with children.
Also, we collect funds for the Family strenghtening program – for families at risk of child abandonment, which should prevent the separation of children from their biological parents, and strengthen their families (financial and advisory support, employment, vocational training, legal advice, training, etc.)..
