We are member of the big international family SOS-Kinderdorf International (International association of SOS Children’s Villages). SOS-Kinderdorf is an international, humanitarian, non--profitable, non-political and non-government association with head office in Austria. It is established in 1949. and today helps children in 132 countries and territories on five continents.

Apart from SOS Children’s Villages like essential kind of help to children without parental care, SOS-Kinderdorf is building and financing kindergartens, schools, medical centres, social centres, vocational centres, special family strengthening programmes, where and whenever there are needs. In crisis areas, earthquakes, epidemics, wars and elementary disaster, SOS-Kinderdorf is realizing programmes of emergency relief to the endangered population.

In its work SOS-Kinderdorf is guided by the basic maxims and principles of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child.
